And so it begins...
Every aspiring doctor all go through an exam called National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) administered by CEM. My college friends took this exam when we were still studying. This exam covers an IQ, vocabulary, math skills test and the test in 4 basics of sciences (biology, chemistry, social science and physics). Why am I glad that that I didn't took the test then? I have to say I am not the brightest kid when it comes to computations so I know physics, chemistry and maths will be a challenge for me.

After I registered for the exam , they sent me a practice test. I researched all over the internet and ang they say the same thing: STUDY THE PRACTICE SETS, and so I did. Upon reviewing the the practice sets I noticed that the exam was so random especially the basic sciences. My concern is I am reviewing so many things that odds of it actually appearing in the exam is low. Every subtest consists of 50 items that will possibly cover more on 1 of the 15 topics in the subject. To add to this dilemma, my research revealed that every year a subtest focus more on a certain topic. In 2014 it was more of force and mechanics while in 2015 it was more in electricity. This was the most frustrating part. It made me realise that I should've studied more in my highschool days. I was as if restudying the theories and concepts in physics that I already forgot. Truly, preparation in med school start when we enter high school. (I cry).
Its only 3 weeks before the NMAT exam and I am already feeling all the tension. I always chat my college friends for tips almost every other night and they might be annoyed by now (haha sorry friends). Nevertheless, nandito na tayo. No turning back! As I registered in this exam I was already envisioning myself studying medicine in my dream school. Everytime na tinatamad ako I just remind myself how I really want this and effective naman.
Oh well! In 3 weeks time I will be sitting inside the testing room and one thing I cannot let happen is kapag nakita ko yung tanong wala akong maisasagot. NOPE! Kaya naman kahit gaano kahirap with all the crazy schedule sa trabaho pa lang dapat kayanin. I have realized one thing while reviewing for NMAT exam:
Mahirap lang ito pero hindi imposible!
Mahirap ba? Well, tumbasan mo ng sipag! G lang!
